Gervais Warren (2009)

Gervais Warren was born in Scotland and emigrated to Canada, twice. He has garnered a plethora of certificates, diplomas and degrees in music, education, and composition in both the old and new worlds.

Gervais has taught music at all grade levels in the public school systems of Scotland, Quebec, Newfoundland, and Manitoba. He was also Arts Consultant in the Curriculum Branch of the Department of Education in both Manitoba and New Brunswick. He retired from the latter post, does sessional work at two universities and a community college, and serves on several arts-related boards.

Gervais has composed and arranged music for many years, usually with a specific singing group or voicing in mind. However the songs selected for Renforth Music's catalogue are intended for wider, more general use.
